We are in need of Summer Volunteers to help with our summer program. This is a great way for volunteers to receive community service hours plus a rewarding work experience.

Helpful Volunteer Information:

Age Requirement: 13 years of age and older
Summer Camp Dates: June 23rd – August 1st
Time: 8AM to 5PM – Monday thru Friday

Duties:

• Teacher’s Aids
• Classroom Assistants
• Maintenance & Clean Up
• Food Preparation

Volunteer Work Shifts

Morning Shift: 8:30AM to 12:30PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:30PM to 4:30PM
Full Day: 8:30AM to 4PM
Attire: T-shirt or Polo style shirt with Khaki pants or shorts or Blue Jeans or Blue Jean Shorts, and Sneakers.

We are open 5 days a week, but each volunteer can create their own schedule. They can dedicate their time once a week, twice a week, or all 5 days. They can select their own work shifts: either morning, afternoon, or full day. We will cover all of this in a Mandatory Summer Volunteer Orientation set for Wednesday, June 18th at 6pm at the Overtown Youth Center.
