Give OYC Day 2014
As we prepare for Give Miami Day, we show that giving back is what we do! Each group of students at OYC dedicated their time and effort to supporting the Overtown community through different service projects!
Some of the projects the students completed are:
- Garden & Playground Beautification at St. Johns Church (located directly behind OYC)
- Made Christmas Cards for the Homeless
- Prepared nearly 400 sandwiches for homeless
- Assisted local corner store with stocking groceries
- Created encouraging posters for staff members
