Here at the Overtown Youth Center we truly are busy bodies! From the staff right down to the students, we are always on the go. Volunteers make a major difference in what we are able to accomplish. Please take a look at our volunteer opportunities below to see how you can assist us in fulfilling our mission!

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A VOLUNTEER?

Monday – Thursday 3:30pm-6:30pm

  • Assisting students with academic assignments
  • After School Tutoring
  • Assisting in program activities – art, music, dance, garden, recreational sports or play, etc.
  • Supervising students whenever necessary
  • Administrative Assistance
  • College and Career Readiness Workshops

 

During the Summer, Teacher Planning Days & Spring Break

  • Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Snack
  • Chaperoning Field Trips
  • Assisting in program activities – art, music, dance, garden, recreational sports or play, etc.
  • Supervising students whenever necessary
  • Administrative Assistance
