Beginning in September we partnered with UnidosUS Latinos in Finance Program, to provide training and offer a pathway for individuals on careers in the banking industry. On October 14th we celebrated the graduation of our second cohort that successfully completed their 6-week training program.
The UnidosUs Workforce Development Program seeks to ensure the Latino community’s ability to contribute to and share in the nation’s economic opportunities. The initiative was started in 2015 to train individuals for middle-skills jobs with growth opportunities and competitive wages. The program also aims to help employers hire linguistic and culturally competent talent.
Congratulations to our graduates and a special thanks to our community partners from; Bank of America, Chase Bank, and BankUnited for participating in the program as guest speakers and mentors.
