06 Dec A Glimpse from the Inside
On November 18th, our OYC and Honey Shine teams along with several board members hosted a Hard Hat Tour of the construction site of our new facility, slated to open its doors during the second quarter in 2022. There were over 50 individuals in attendance; donors, community partners and leaders, construction team, OYC/HS staff and many others to see first-hand the new developments and layout of the space and learn more about some of our upcoming plans to implement services. In addition to the opportunity to take a closer look of the new building, folks in attendance helped us kick-off our Give Miami Day fundraising efforts. Several individuals in attendance stayed after the tour and volunteered to make calls during our “phone bank” hours, where calls were placed to encourage individuals to support our mission.
