Happy New Year
We hope that time off during the holidays provided each of you some time to reflect, re-energize, regroup and re-focus…
Last year was an extremely BUSY year for OYC – challenging in some ways, yet REWARDING in more ways! As in last year, the THRILL will be on AGAIN this year… while I am not a big fan of roller coasters, like many folks…… I admire the thrill, I dread the suspense of the sharp curves, bumps, and sudden changes of speed & direction, but I LOVE that EXHILIRATING feeling of victory! Those victories that validate our team’s persistence, purposefulness and commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children, families, and community members.
As wild and thrilling as our ride may have been last year… We hope that each of YOU – our partners, volunteers, funders, donors and every key stakeholder are ALL IN and READY to GO AGAIN for this new year! We ask that you continue to COURAGEOUSLY make this ride exciting and unforgettable for those we serve and those who serve alongside us! While New Year resolutions are wonderful for many; at OYC we will keenly set our intentions on being the best version we can be for those who are counting on us! Thanks to all of you in advance…. This year is going to be a really BIG year!
