11 Jan From Student to Change Agent!
So much good news to share as our team grows and thrives within our organization! This is what our dreams are made of at the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine Inc.! We feel an immense sense of gratification to experience the growth and development of our youth. Michael began our program in the 2nd grade. He transitioned to our Americorp component as a member and effective January 2022, Michael will now become one of our fulltime Elementary School Coordinators! To be able to promote from within our organizations is great, but to do it with one of our own students feels extraordinary!
His passion for his students show through his dedication and work ethic! We are so proud of the man he’s become! We can’t wait to join him on this new journey as we work together to strengthen and uplift students through our programs! Congratulations again Michael and thanks for serving as a true role model for our youth!
