We celebrated at the Alonzo and Tracy Mourning Senior High School a key partnership with Payless Shoes under the remarkable leadership of CEO Jared Margolis & his team, and our long-standing supporter Bank of America, by hand delivering $25,000 Payless vouchers! Faculty, teachers and their students were presented with $50 gift cards each to Payless as a token of appreciation for their tireless work and dedication in helping shape young minds.  We wanted to acknowledge their work and efforts during these unprecedented times. Their tenacity and innovation is second to none!

This donation also benefits OYC youth and families. Our students are our most precious commodity and they depend on our educators and mentors to see them through and help them overcome difficult times. These are pivotal moments where our donors make a real difference in our children’s lives and with this grant we will not only support our teachers & faculty, but our students as they’ve had to pivot in these unprecedented times.
