11 Jan She Mastered It!
We are beaming with pride as our Overtown Youth Center Alumna, Quan, has earned her Masters of Social Work from Barry University with a focus on trauma informed care. Quan started our programs as a 2nd grader, which has allowed us to have witnessed her growth first hand throughout her journey with us. Quan continues to give back as a current volunteer at the Overtown Youth Center. We are proud of her amazing accomplishments as she introduces our high school students to mental health and social emotional learning as a dedicated member of OYC & Honey Shine College and Career program. Thank you Quan for empowering the community that watched you grow and congratulations again!
