For most families and children, a digital world represents the answer to excelling in schoolwork and careers, but for many, technology may represent falling behind due to lack of access to resources, tech devices and Wi-Fi connection.

The Overtown Youth Center is proud to be able to bridge the tech gap within our community with a new digital learning station in partnership and sponsored by our longstanding partner AT&T.

We are proud to announce, the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine Inc. has received a $50,000 grant which will provide our youth with fiber broadband, Wi-Fi connection, new devices and digital learning platforms for students and families alike. This digital learning space will also offer access to tutoring and mentoring through AT&T’s in-person and virtual employee volunteerism program that will help elevate our student’s education and growth.

We are proud to be working side by side with AT&T in this opportunity. Thank for taking the initiative to make progress in the development and implementation of educational technology and infrastructure initiatives that are designed to produce more success within our programs.
