09 Feb Saturdays are SUPER at OYC!
Our superstar students dove into STEM based activities filled with learning and fun during the Super Saturdays kick-off and subsequent events. Super Saturdays offers students academic support and the opportunity to engage with our team of mentors, staff, and volunteers in arts, S.T.E.M, gender specific workshops, sports and much more! The kick-off event, which took place on January 8th, was a day filled with outdoor games, fitness activities, and educational support combined with joy and laughter, which made the perfect recipe for a SUPER day!
We want to extend a huge thank you to Cool Dukes and Dare to Live Right for providing Subway lunch, activities and general support for our superstar students. We’d also like to thank City of Miami Parks & Rec and Theodore R. and Thelma A. Gibson Charter School for hosting us.
