09 Feb United Way Eden Place pop-up distribution
The Overtown Youth Center hosted an EDEN Place pop-up distribution where our dedicated team distributed clothing, shoes, books, and food boxes to benefit the community. The distribution took place at our partner site, Lindsey Hopkins Technical College, where many of the students had the opportunity to also benefit from the goods being distributed.
OYC’s EDEN Place, powered by United Way of Miami-Dade, is a family resource center created to empower parents by providing motivational support, information and training. Services aim to help parents successfully navigate the systems that impact their lives and the lives of their children. EDEN Place is here to Educate. Develop. Empower. Nurture.
Thank you to Little Lighthouse Foundation for assisting with the pop-up by providing food boxes with non-perishable items. We are grateful to our partnerships for coming together and giving back.
