18 Mar Congratulations We Are Unidos Graduates
The Overtown Youth Center graduated its 4th cohort of participants from the We Are UnidosUs Latinos in Finance Job Training Program. This valuable partnerships in conjunction with Bank of America, Chase, Apollo Bank, Karmi Currency, TD Bank, One United, Dade County Federal Credit Union, as well as Capital One Cafe provides exposure for young men and women who would like to get into the banking field. The participants took part in banking and financial sessions, were mentored about the banking industry and learned insightful tips from persons who work day-to-day in the banking industry.
At the end of the cohort, participants were awarded a certificate of completion and a laptop. The OYC team supports graduates, who are applying for positions at banks and other institutions, as we are dedicated to helping them work and reach their career goals. Cohort 5 of our training program is currently underway!
