READY…SET…GO!!!! Clue 1: What is the name of the historic beach close to Downtown Miami??? Times up, Virginia Key Beach Park.
A group of honey bugs joined the Sistahs Organization for a Black History Scavenger Hunt at the historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Located in beautiful Biscayne Bay, less than a mile from Downtown Miami, our girls searched for hidden clues secretly tucked away. After the discovery of one clue, the next message led them to another clue. Along the journey to the final clue, the girls learned about the historic beach, the importance of the beach for African-Americans and found some cool landmarks and beach treasure. This fun and educational day was not without the sun and beauty, as the girls took in the sights and nature while they trekked around the park.
