This past June was marked with lots of remarkable accomplishments and celebratory moments. Our organization is led by a group of dynamic individuals, who passionately advocate for our mission. With Tina Brown, who serves as the CEO, we have been able to accomplish a great deal, as her incredible leadership at the helm of this organization has placed our work at the forefront in our society. Tina’s profound devotion and guidance has not gone unnoticed as OYC was most recently the recipient of the Children’s Trust Champions for Children Program of the Year Award, as well as Tina being named one of the Common Wealth Institute’s Top 100 Women-Led Businesses Honorees, being recognized by the Black Professionals Network and the Center for Black Innovation at their 2022 Juneteenth Freedom Ball. In addition, she was the recipient of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce 2022 M. Athalie Range Pioneer for Progress Award.
