21 Sep Honey Bugs Shining in Miramar
Honey Shine is EXPANDING, and recently launched its first Honey Shine Program in Miramar, Florida. This program will continue Honey Shine’s mission to mentor and inspire through the balancing of mind, body, and soul in girls and women.
The City of Miramar, along with AT&T have supported our expanding Honey Shine program, which was kicked off through a wonderful collaboration with the Miramar Parks Department and Renaissance Middle School. During this event our Honey Bugs participated in a hands-on cooking demonstration facilitated by Black Girls Cook, who provided all the ingredients, cookware and recipes for our girls.
We are truly grateful to the City of Miramar and their dedicated professionals, as well as AT&T for allowing Honey Shine to serve as a catalyst to inspire more girls to shine.
