Giving Thanks at the Thanksgiving Basket Brigade

For the third consecutive year, OYC families benefitted from the generosity of the Thanksgiving Basket Brigade sponsorship which affords families in our program with a basket filled with items to cook a Thanksgiving meal for a family of five, as well as a gift card to purchase a protein of their choice.

For the third consecutive year, OYC families benefitted from the generosity of the Thanksgiving Basket Brigade sponsorship which affords families in our program with a basket filled with items to cook a Thanksgiving meal for a family of five, as well as a gift card to purchase a protein of their choice.  The Basket Brigade distribution took place this year at OYC’s partner school, Toussaint L’ouverture Elementary School. Our board member Russell Brooke and Jacqueline Arikape of Celebration Title Group and The La Rosa Foundation are responsible for raising funds and awareness to support our families during this special event.
