13 Jan Digital Skills Programming
Did you know that OYC offers a Digital Skills Program for adults? Through funding support from UnidosUS, OYC is offering the Digital Skills for Life program to adults ages 18 and older. Participants further their knowledge on how to effectively navigate computers and smartphones (e.g., learning to troubleshoot, use the internet for research, file maintenance and organization, working with Microsoft Office, using web browsers, keyboarding skills, and navigating Apps safely). The first cohort was offered in partnership with Father Marquess-Barry Apartments to their residents. Participants graduated in December and were very proud of everything they learned in addition to adding a new set of skills that will aid them in future opportunities!
