13 Jan Family STEM Activities funded by 21st CCLC
As a funded 21st Century Community Learning Center through the Florida Department of Education, OYC offers monthly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities for the whole family. In December, families participated in several engaging events and learned about concepts related to robotics and physics (force and motion) through fun, hands-on activities. Additionally, this program component offers families year-round opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their children’s education, including opportunities for literacy and related educational development.
