24 Mar A PEP Rally for Honey Bugs
The month of February is filled with positive and impactful programming centered around education, health, enrichment & exposure, family services and economic sustainability.
A University of Miami Medical Resident hosted a PEP Rally to help our middle school honey bugs learn about menstrual health. The Period Education Project – Girlology is the leading movement helping young people access medically-accurate menstrual health education. This informative session was an enriching self-esteem and confidence booster, that also provided Honey Shine girls with facts about their health.
