OYC Miami and Honey Shine hosted a Women’s Empowerment Breakfast to celebrate the women who work daily at OYC and Honey Shine as mentors, teachers and role models to hundreds of youth.
This empowering breakfast was lead by Tina Brown, OYC Miami CEO, who served as moderator with a panel of exceptional women. The panel included Honey Shine founder, Tracy Wilson Mourning, OYC Miami Board Chairwoman Michelle Febres, as well as City of North Miami Commissioner Daniella Jean and OYC Miami Building Project Manager / Architect Chenera Anderson.
This dynamic group engaged in a dialogue that focused on their shared experiences as professional women navigating the challenges and complexities of balancing career and family life, disparities in the workplace as well as their personal journeys and life anecdotes.
