Honey Bugs Learn the Importance of Community Service

At Camp Honey Shine we believe in the importance of service and giving back to the community. Recently, our Honey Bugs participated in a “beach clean up day” where debris was collected by the girls while they learned the effects plastic bottles and other harmful materials have on our beautiful beaches and ultimately the environment.

Engaging in community service not only allows our honey bugs to contribute to the betterment of society, but it also teaches them important life skills such as empathy, compassion, and teamwork. Through these experiences, our girls are developing a sense of responsibility and understanding the importance of being active members of their communities. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and commitment to making a difference, and we look forward to seeing the lasting impact and watching our girls shine.
